A Message From Your Girls PeeWee Convener

Thank you for your interest in the 2025 Girls Peewee season with Royal York Baseball League Inc. Please review the key details below:

AGE GROUP

Players born in 2012, and 2013 are eligible for the Girls Peewee teams.

REGULAR SEASON OVERVIEW

The program focuses on skill development for players of all levels, with an emphasis on fun, teamwork, and core baseball skills. Practices occur once a week, with two games scheduled weekly. The season runs from May to June, with playoffs in September. An end-of-season party will be organized by the Head Coach.

SCHEDULE

  • One weekday practice
  • One weekday game
  • One game on Saturdays or alternating Saturdays Coaches will provide schedule details by mid-to-late April.

FIELD LOCATIONS

Games and practices will include the listed parks:

  • Connorvale Park S (281 Rimilton Ave.)
  • Queensway South (8 Avon Park Dr.)
  • Westway Park (175 The Westway)
  • Tom Riley (3216 Bloor St W.)

YEAR END CHAMPIONSHIPS

Playoffs will be held in September, followed by Championship Day where trophies will be awarded.

PRE-SEASON CLINICS

Free developmental clinics will be held at ProTeach (25 Whitlam Ave.) focusing on throwing, catching, batting, and fielding. These sessions also serve to evaluate skill levels for balanced team placement. Attendance is highly recommended.

PRACTICE DAY PREFERENCES

If you have a preferred practice day, please indicate it during registration. While we cannot guarantee specific days, we will do our best to accommodate requests.

PLAY-WITH REQUESTS

Only reciprocal Play-With Requests will be considered. Ensure both players request each other during registration. Requests must be submitted by April 1st.

UNIFORMS and EQUIPMENT

Players will receive a full uniform (jersey, pants, socks, belt). Players must provide their own glove, helmet, and cleats. Team bats and catching gear will be supplied.

COACHING VOLUNTEERS

RYBL relies on parent volunteers to operate. If you’re interested in coaching or assisting, please indicate your interest during registration. No experience is required, and both male and female coaches are welcome.

UMPIRING

If your daughter is interested in umpiring, please contact our Umpire-in-Chief at uic@rybl.com.

REGISTRATION

Please register early to secure a spot. Review Rowan’s Law (Concussion Policy) and the Parent & Player Code of Conduct on the RYBL website.
