BOYS BANTAM DIVISION

A Note From Your Boy’s Bantam Convener

House League is the foundation of RYBL. We welcome a wide range of abilities – from beginners of organized baseball to players who have been playing baseball their whole lives. Either way, we are so excited to see everyone on the field!

We also would like to endorse and welcome any parents or volunteers to consider coaching. We offer a ton of resources and tools and work closely with our Player & Coach Development Head, Denny Berni, who continues doing a great job maximizing our coaches skill set, baseball IQ & overall passion to teach the game to our kids.

If interested in summer baseball, a summer instructional program will be offered by the Baseball Professionals at Pro Teach Baseball, in conjunction with RYBL, at an additional cost. Please see the following URL for further information on Summer programs: https://proteach.net/index.php/site/shop?category=10

UMPIRING

Umpiring is an excellent way to learn the game of baseball from a different perspective and is a perfect part-time job for teenagers. If your player is interested in umpiring this season, please feel free to reach out to our Umpire-in-Chief at uic@rybl.com with any questions.

COACHING VOLUNTEERS

RYBL is the best youth baseball association in Etobicoke because of the dedication of its Coach Volunteers. Please consider expressing your interest in coaching or assisting in your player’s registration application.

All coaches are supported with initial training and continuous group communication to ensure you and your team’s success on the field.

If you are open to the possibility of coaching, even as an assistant, and have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out!

PLAY WITH REQUESTS

Please note that only “reciprocal” play-with requests will be considered, per the play-with policy on the RYBL Website, if received prior to April 1.

This means that if your player would like to play with another child, he/she must select that player on their Registration, and vice-versa.

Multiple play-with requests and non-reciprocal play-with requests will NOT be considered.

Thank you for your interest in RYBL.

Please reach out if you have any questions.
