WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

RAINOUT POLICY & CHECKLIST:

• Rep/Select Home Team Coaches and House League Convenors are responsible for cancelling a game on Horizon due to poor weather and/or field conditions *Must inform Away Team Coach & Select/Rep Umpire Scheduler at (rybl.scheduling@gmail.com) and cc the UIC at (uic@rybl.com).
• A Coach/Convenor MUST cancel the game on Horizon no later than 60 minutes prior to game start time or inform the appropriate umpire scheduler 90 minutes prior to game start time to avoid having to pay umpires for the assignment.
• If the Coach/Convenor informs the umpire schedulers at (rybl.scheduling@gmail.com) about the cancellation at least 90 minutes prior to game start time; it is THE SCHEDULERS’ responsibility to cancel the umpires on Horizon.
• If you need to communicate directly with the umpires scheduled for your game, their names and contact details are available to you on Horizon 24hrs prior to start time.
• Umpires must be informed via Horizon no later than 60 minutes prior to the start of the game. Upon cancellation of a game on Horizon, Umpires are automatically notified.
• Convenors may want to consider cancelling games on Friday evening for early games on Saturday morning.
