RYBL Minor Mosquito A wins City Championship!

Minor Mosquito A team led by Happy Singh, Darren Snelgrove and Matthew Steele win the City Championship! The minor mosquito A team beat the Bloordale bombers in a nail biting game 19-15. This incredible group of boys played their hearts out and showed great courage, strength and integrity during times of adversity. A great ending to a great season, great job boys!

Excellent weekend of baseball for the Royal York 11U A team!

It was an excellent weekend of baseball for the Royal York 11U A team! They were undefeated in the TBA tournament posting a 3-0 record with a 43 to 8 run differential over their three games. They finished the season ranked 2nd amongst the TBA teams and took the first game of the tournament 11-5 versus North York. After giving up a lead-off home run in game 2, the team settled in and eventually pitched a one hitter versus North Toronto on the way to a 16-1 victory and a birth in the final. The final was a tough match over 6 innings. Royal York entered the 7th up 4-1 when the bats hit their groove and they notched 12 runs on the way to a 16-2 championship victory! The pitching and defense was stellar through the tournament. Eight months of hard work came together for an amazing weekend of baseball and a TBA championship! Congratulations to the players, coaches and parents!
