RYBL Minor Mosquito A wins City Championship!

Minor Mosquito A team led by Happy Singh, Darren Snelgrove and Matthew Steele win the City Championship! The minor mosquito A team beat the Bloordale bombers in a nail biting game 19-15. This incredible group of boys played their hearts out and showed great courage, strength and integrity during times of adversity. A great ending to a great season, great job boys!

2019 Girls Baseball Jamboree

RYBL Girls entered the Canadian Girls baseball Jamboree. It’s the third year they have hosted the tournament. It was is Ajax at the Pan Am games site – Ajax sportsplex. RYBL Girls played two games on Friday night back to back.

The first against Leaside 9U girls that we won 20-2. Then we played the CGB Diamonds ( a team we played a few times last summer) and won 16-15. Saturday we played Leaside again for the medal round for a win of 20-8. And Sunday morning, we played a mosquito team – the CGB All star red team and won 18-3.
It was a beautiful venue. We decided to stay and make it an away tournament. Overall it was great team bonding and fun weekend for the girls. There were no international teams! It was basically RY and Leaside and CGB.
