T-BALL SUMMER STARS

A Note From Your T-Ball Summer Stars Convenors

We are thrilled to welcome back T-Ball Summer Stars for the 2023 Summer and Fall season. Registration will open towards the end of June 2023.

For those kids who wish their T-Ball season could go all summer long and who want to learn even more about the game, the rules and to continue to build and grow upon their baseball development – this league is for you!

Similar to our spring House-league division, we are only as successful as the parents who volunteer to coach. This league will not happen without you. We will need at  minimum 2 coaches for each team (ideally 3 with 1 parent listed as Head Coach). Please be open to helping in any capacity!

Please note the following information:

  • Who – Available for children born in 2016/2017 only. “Play up” scenarios will not be considered.
  • Location – Last seasons all games were held at the diamonds at Humber Valley Park. This year additional fields may be added if necessary.
  • Duration – Program runs for 12 weeks
  • When – 1 Game per week only on a weeknight (no weekends).
  • Time – Games will start at 6:30pm through July and August, moving to 6pm in the fall depending on daylight hours.
  • Format – First week will consist of a practice only with 10 games to follow with the potential for a playoff scenario during the last week.
  • Skill Level – Children of all abilities are welcome but please understand that the rules for this league will not be the same as house league. While our emphasis will always be on FUN there will be the new challenge of outs and scores. Parents please be a good judge of your child’s ability to cope Parents please be a good judge of your child’s ability to cope. Please see T-Ball Development Rules for your review.
  • Play-With Requests – RYBL allows for Reciprocal Play-With Requests, per the play-with policy on the RYBL Website. This means that if your child would like to play with another child, please select that particular child during your Registration; and the other parent must do likewise. We will do our best to accommodate but there will be no guarantee. Multiple play-with (e.g., listing a number of players in the Play-With field) will not be considered.
  • Balanced Play – As noted Convenors will attempt to make teams as balanced as possible. Please note that players may be moved between teams in order to achieve that.

Thank you sincerely for your interest in the RYBL Development T-Ball for 2023; we look forward to meeting you all soon!
