A Note From Your Men’s Competitive League Convener

Thank you for your interest in Royal York’s Men’s Competitive League! Please consider the information below closely, as it should provide some answers to your questions.

This is a recreational 6-10 team baseball league that plays out of Centennial and Ourland Parks. All skills levels are welcome however, most of the players have played competitive baseball before so there is some competitive element involved.

Only wooden bats are permitted. Each player should provide their own bat as well as a batting helmet and baseball pants.

AGE GROUP

For 2024, the Men’s Competitive League is for players born in year 2005 or older.

SEASON

This is a 6-10 team league that begins before the May Long Weekend and ends before Labour Day, including playoffs.

EXPECTED SCHEDULE

Typically, Wednesday nights and Sunday at Ourland, Centennial or Connorvale. On Sunday’s game times are between the hours of 1PM and 11PM. There are either one or two games per week, and no regular practices. There are no games scheduled on long weekends.
