Thank you for your interest in Royal York’s 2018 Boy’s Peewee House League Program. This program is geared towards players born in 2005 and 2006. House League is the foundation of our association and we welcome a wide range of ability and experience from beginners of organized baseball to players that have started from as early as Blastball. We also would like to endorse and welcome any parents or volunteers to consider coaching. We offer a ton of resources and tools and work closely with our Player & Coach Development Head, Denny Berni, who continues doing a great job maximizing our coaches skill set, baseball IQ & overall passion to teach the game to our kids. If interested in volunteering with coaching, scorekeeping or being a Team Manager, contact me by email:

If interested in summer baseball, a summer instructional program will be offered by the Baseball Professionals at Pro Teach Baseball, in conjunction with RYBL, at an additional cost.  Please see the following URL for further information on Summer programs:

RYBL is the best youth baseball association in Etobicoke because of the dedication of its parent Coach Volunteers.  Please consider expressing your interest in Coaching or assisting in your son’s registration application, as only through its many parental volunteers is this League capable of operation!

SCHEDULE (2018 Schedule)

Your son’s team will receive communication via email or phone call between Mid-Late April from their Head Coach on scheduling details, Pre Season Pro Teach Workout, expectations, etc… We run our regular season in May & June, with the league recommencing in September for Playoffs. This gives you the flexibility to enjoy an uninterrupted summer and being more eager than ever to get back on the field for some late summer ball. Your son will on average have 2 games a week with 1 practice. We play one game on a weekday (Various days) and a game on Saturday afternoons. Practice days will be a weekday.

If you have a preference for a particular practice day (Monday-Friday), please put that into the comments section of your registration.  Although it cannot be guaranteed, every effort will be made to accommodate your practice day preference, and there is usually enough flexibility in Team Assignments to provide players with preferred practice days.  However:  please note that “Practice Day Preference” will be given priority over “Play With” requests, and any other special requests.

Photo Night will take place at Pro Teach Baseball Facility in May. All players will have an individual portrait taken along with a team photo to commemorate the 2017 baseball year. Photo Packages will be given out at The Pre Season Clinics in Late April & photos will be ready for handout sometime in September.

Once your fun filled season is complete, your Head Coach will organize a season ending party for the team to celebrate your season. Previous party options have included E-Zone, Laser Quest, Bowling & much more. More details to come from your Coach during the season.

Required pieces of equipment are a glove and baseball cleats. We provide bats, catching gear & a full uniform at our Pre Season Clinics (Hat, Jersey, Socks, Belt, Pants).

This is a great age to start umpiring and learning the game of baseball from a different perspective. A perfect part time job to balance with playing the sport along with school & any other activities. If your son is interested in umpiring for the 2018 season, please contact our Umpire In Chief, Jon Goin,

Please note that only “reciprocal” Play-With Requests will be considered, per the play-with policy on the RYBL Website. This means that if your son would like to play with another boy, he must select that boy on his Registration, and the other boy must also select your son on his Registration.  (Unfortunately “Non-Reciprocal” Play-With Requests will be rejected, and “Multiple” Play-With Requests will be rejected.  However, all efforts will be made to accommodate proper Reciprocal Play-With Requests.)

Please register by March 1, 2018 to maximize the chances of ensuring a spot in the 2018 Boy’s Peewee House League Program, and taking advantage of all possible early-bird savings opportunities.
