Child Fitness Tax Credit
You may be able to claim up to $500 per child for the fees paid in a calendar year that relate to the cost of registering your or your spouse’s or common-law partner’s child in a prescribed program of physical activity.
To find out the conditions you must meet for you to be able to claim this amount, click here.
You do not need to submit receipts when you file your tax return, but you must keep them in case Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) asks for them when verifying your claim. CRA recommends keeping receipts kept for six years.
